One Day Course

This training course aims to give you an overview in using Crystal Reports as a reporting and data analysis tool when used in conjunction with the Access Dimensions accounting system. By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Set up ODBC data sources.
• Connect Crystal Reports to ODBC data sources
• Generate reports within Crystal Reports that reference data from multiple tables.
• You will be able to group, summarise and total information.
• You will be able to define the selection criteria for information on the report.
• You will be able to format information to improve its presentation.
• You will be able to construct simple formulae to provide additional information to the report.
• Specify run-time selection parameters.
• Create and use sub-reports.
• Create drill-down reports.
• Conditionally change the format of fields.
• Export the report data to 3rd party applications.
• Create charts from report data.
• Create Cross-tab reports.
