Crocs shoes retailer turns to
Soft-Works (UK) Limited & Access Dimensions to ensure business success remains sweet
Press Release - Thursday 8th November 2007
Devon-based Sweetfeet Shoes, an on-line retailer of the iconic Crocs shoe brand, is celebrating its second anniversary, having seen a staggering 220 per cent increase in turnover to £800,000.
To support customer demand, the fast-growing company - which will be shortly adding a further 12,000 sq ft to its current 8,000 sq ft warehouse to meet massive expansion plans - has enlisted Soft-Works (UK) Limited, a leading accredited specialist centre for Access Accounting with offices in the south-west, to implement the award-winning Access Dimensions business and accounting software.
Alex Sampson, managing director for Sweetfeet, said, “The business is evolving rapidly so we need to replace our manual processes with more effective methods. With a growing customer base, we need to ensure sales orders are dealt with quickly and efficiently. By implementing a business and accounting solution that can link stock control into the back end accounting system and our website; we can further improve customer service and obtain the reporting capacity we require to monitor the business."
For Sweetfeet, the system had to be cost effective. Alex commented, “With Access Dimensions, we can start small and have the ability to add further functionality as our business grows, providing us with a system for the future."
“In addition to the solution, the team at Soft-Works were also very approachable - I knew I would be able to work with them straight away. When you’re undertaking a project such as this, you need consultants that understand your business,” he concluded.
