Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream
Owned and operated by David & Sue Baker, Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream produces a wide variety of ice creams, with sheep’s milk ice cream being a speciality. With years of knowledge and operational skills behind them, David and Sue are the largest producers of sheep’s milk ice cream in the UK. In the summer months, during the peak selling period, Styles Farmhouse Ice Cream employs about 55 staff for producing ice cream on the farm and selling it via vans, trailers and traditional tricycles. Throughout the year, they attend about 250 shows, including nearly all of the agricultural shows between Barnstaple and Portsmouth. They operate a fleet of six ice cream vans, three ice cream parlours, one large trailer, two tent units and fourteen traditional 1930’s tricycles.
The Wholesale arm of the business increases in size year by year, serving retail and catering outlets throughout Somerset and Devon, including some customers further afield.
Due to continuing growth and future expansion plans, Styles Farmhouse recognised the need to upgrade from their existing accounting system, mainly due to its limitations and lack of proactive reporting functionality.

As well as handling the accounting needs of Styles Farmhouse, the Access Dimensions system offers full Stock Control with assemblies (BOM), Order Processing/Distribution and CRM functionality for their sales department, giving them the tools to manage marketing campaigns and sales pipeline activity.
But it doesn’t stop there… Future requirements are to link their new Access Dimensions system to an eCommerce website, offering a more efficient method for their clients to place orders as and when they wish - 24 hours a day, everyday!
